They already pay you just enough that you don't quit. In return you work just hard enough that you don't get fired. Why is this USAmerican "lowest common denominator" system of employment tied to healthcare? Congratulations for working a max of 39 hrs per week and being considered part time without benefits
Don't get sick, you'll be fired and have no healthcare.

Because employers should have the freedom to change employees without any consideration for them. Having to supply healthcare means they suddenly have to start caring!

i dunno, employers provide dental/vision/prescription drug benefits here too. if you don't have a private prescription drug plan then the government will give you one but you're shit out of luck for the other two.
