If an individual stopped making unnecessary purchases and consumed only what they needed, that would be an economical way to live.
If everybody stopped spending and consuming, the economy would collapse; it would be an uneconomical way for a society to live.
Does anybody know what is going on here?

Artificially is a lot of activity on the demand side generated by the likes of welfare spending etc. What's going on is that you're describing, when these two conditions are intermediarily synthesized, the current situation: an inevitably of the equilibrium's dilemma.

I know what most of those words mean.
We spend credit on our debit cards and debt on our credit cards.
Do you buy into the lie?

The word economical means different things in the two scenarios so the comparison is not equal.

I have found a more better way. Banks that Pay YOU to take and use their credit card. If you have decent credit go look at AMEX no fee Blue rewards card. On line you can get approved and its just a few weeks and you get $150 credit back on your account to pay your bill or a portion of it.

Starting today I will only use that AMEX card for Grocery's with the 3% cash back and use my Fidelity Visa 2% on everything with no limit on cash back - So everything else gets paid for with that Visa
