Their first Album, For Emma, Forever Ago, was recorded over a period of three months by the singer in a solitary cabin in Wisconsin.
They have a really eclectic sound, but it's very good. They're a bit of an acquired taste, but they grow on you quickly. it's a very mature sound, both in music and lyrics.

Take "Emma" for example, it sounds fucking fantastic, but goddamn that voice just... fails. His voice would probably work with another style of music, but in this style it literally ruins it. Get another vocalist and this song would be full of win.
I never even looked at him. I could tell by his singing he had a beard. Also flip-flops and a green T-shirt. He is slightly overweight.

I like 80's music, pop, punk, candy punk, big ballads (like those sung by Celine Dione or Meatloaf), Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Weird Al Yankovich, The Toadies, Journey, Queen, Most music from Glee, Acapella music,in particular the band Rockapella, those old songs where teenagers are killed tragically in car accidents, Blue Oyster Cult, and many more that escape me right now.
