Ninjj has been bugging me about making this damn lists, so here we go.
10. Chucklevision
This was a hilarious TV show that was aired on CBBC back in the day. It is about two autistic brothers and their exploits in having a chuckle. Their catchphrase is 'to me, to you' which they say when they are having an autistic episode.
9. Top Gear
I can't drive, but this shoe wasn't just for petrolheads! Jeremy Clarkson, a midget and a gay man's jolly adventures were a riot!
8. My Family
This show follows the life of a cynical father and his dysfunctional family. First several seasons were pretty funny.
7. Inbetweeners
I'll admit, I didn't like this show at first, then I watched it. Hilarity abound in this TV series. Punching a fish will always be a classic. The main character also has aspergers. Movies are pretty shit though and the American version is hilariously bad.
6. Red Dwarf
This is the definitive sci-fi comedy. Seasons 1-6 had hilarious and genuinely intriguing episodes. It had great characters as well, Arnold Rimmer especially.
5. Ashes to Ashes
A pretty good detective show with sci-fi elements.
4. Life on Mars
A pretty great detective show with sci-fi elements. Like Starsky and Hutch but British and actually good.
3. Torchwood
Some people call this the British X-Files but I disagree. The characters in Torchwood are actually 3 dimensional and have some personality. Captain Jack is awesome and they should bring back Ianto.
2. Only Fools and Horses
This has got to be the funniest TV show to ever air on TV. You have some great characters such as Del Boy, the glib, likeable market trader selling dodgy gear and Uncle Albert who tells you about his wartime experiences. Classic moments include the chandelier, sex dolls and Gary. Watch it you plonker!
1. Doctor Who
How were you not expecting this? A man with a box that can go anywhere in time and space has near infinite possibilities. It is probably one of the best sci-fis of all time along with Star Trek and classic episodes are too numerous to mention. My favourite Doctor is Matt Smith.

By the way, the most fascinating episode of Red Dwarf for me is where they go to a strange moon and find an imprint of Rimmer's tombstone in the moon's surface. It later turns out that the woman he thought he'd loved all his life turned out to have never existed. Incredible writing, if they'd written that for the stage rather than the screen it would have won awards.

The closest I can think of from Doctor Who is The Big Bang. Reternalism states that the universe collapses in on itself and in turn expands into the big bang again, but we are also open to the possibility that the big bang could be created within a time loop.

I dunno. I'm not much of a TV aficionado.
I like Red Dwarf and The Inbetweeners, for sure. Also a big fan of Toast of London, and The Apprentice (if that counts).

I only saw a little bit of Psychoville, but it was great.
If you haven't seen it, look for Inside Number 9. I think it's by the same writers that did Psychoville, and it's got a similar sort of dark humour to it.

I just watched the first episode of Number 9 a d it was pretty okay, except that when they spoke very fast I coukdnt understand them at all

So the second episode is great and very hilarious. It included a non smaltzy version of the suicide song (Can't Live if Living is Without You) which was very good and not overdone.
