Here's how a Trump supporter suggests increasing his odds of winning. It's now okay to recommend bombing people!

Me thinks Trump does not think about how US Citizens felt about Germans and German immigrants:

With German ancestry from his father and Scottish ancestry from his mother, millionaire real estate developer Donald Trump epitomizes the American immigrant experience. Born to Frederick and Mary MacLeod Trump in Queens, New York on June 14, 1946,

Here in San Diego I no about 3 people that are legally American Indians - True natives - Not of pure blood because they have researched how their family was raped and pillaged by the immigrants that invaded and stole their territory.

One is a professor who teaches Indian history and I often see Able on TV when news people are looking to interview someone for the Indian point of view. I no the guy because he is a Zydeco/Cajun dancer.

The joke is that Ahmad Khan Rahami is not a Trump supporter, but his actions inadvertently end up increasing Trump support.

I have been extra super busy with work and only catch a little CNN - I did see the full Anderson Cooper interview of the guy who called police to report Rahami sleeping in a doorway
http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/19/us/ny-nj-bombing-suspect-bar-owner/

I just hit Google and the bar owner is of course immigrant - Indian American businessman Harinder Bains "I'm from Sikh faith," he added. "I've been taught always stand up against the atrocities, any kind of persecution."

How the fuck does that increase Trump support?

It's as irresponsible and reprehensible as the veiled threats against Clinton Trump is constantly making.

This is bullshit. Seriously wrong. And this is coming from someone who regularly laughs at Holocaust jokes.

Not so much on the uk. They've had migration waves for a decade and that pretty much created a brexit

I can confirm that. Immigration was the main issue driving the Leave side.

Though, having said that, Trip claimed that people change their minds when the immigration wave ends. It's too early to say exactly how Brexit will look, but I strongly doubt that the Leave voters will miss the immigration assuming it is stopped. They, and the right-wing media and politicians that cater to them, are very dedicated to their anti-immigrant stances.

Maybe we should lock up the blacks because some of them kill you and we aren't even allowed to detain them for testing at present

Not to mention that these skittles are trying to escape from getting killed by other skittles in the first place, or half their skittle family was already killed

Yea I looked at that but in context its nothing like Trump telling the Secrete Service that protects Hillary to drop their weapons - Strange cause the risks are high that such agents wood be shot along with Hillary. Must have made Trumps protection SS detail somewhat cringe

becky its not bullshit if you look at it from the Trump supporters point of view. Trump needs WHITE MEN and if lucky a few WHITE Women - He needs MASSIVE numbers of White Men to offset the loss of blacks and latinos. So going for Weapons happy uneducated White Men is Trumps only option for a win. So far that tactic is paying off for Trump

It sucks but its a Fact that by the numbers cannot be denied.

Alright, let's say there's an election for mayor of Podunk. The current mayor is term limited, and the candidates are Gun Control Guy and 2nd Amendment Guy. Now let's say a terrible mass shooting has happened. Here are the candidates arguments:

Gun Control guy: "If we had banned the AR-15, this tragedy wouldn't have happened"
2nd Amendment guy: "Not all gun owners are like that. 99% of gun owners are responsible people"

In the immediate aftermath of the terrible mass shooting, Gun Control guy will rise in the polls because he has the stronger argument. Every single gun crime strengthens his appeal and plays into his message that guns are too dangerous and don't belong in Podunk, even if 99.9% of gun owners are responsible law abiding people. The risk just isn't worth it.

In the wake of the Orlando shooting, Trump's poll numbers actually dropped to very low levels, and in addition, Americans are split about evenly on whether Trump or Clinton handles terrorism better. The idea itself is wrong, and the way it's depicted is unconscionable.

Orlando was weird. There were too many things going on: you had the LGBTQ angle, Islam's relation to same and shooter's possible closeted homosexuality, the Muslim immigration thing (Omar Mateens father who was also batshit crazy), and of course the AR-15.

But I think Trump's post-orlando poll fall shows "if only we had banned the AR-15" is a really strong argument in the wake of a mass shooting.

Metæ double-posted this 10 years ago, 4 minutes later, 16 hours after the original post[^] [v] #720,717

> That was when he was president. How does this apply to which of two candidates is preferred when a lame-duck president is in office?
The comic is saying "when Muslims do bombings, it increases Trumps support because Trump wants to ban Muslim immigration and Hillary does not"

> And why, praytell, would the comic specify "otherwise secure Democrat-voting states"?
I think it means "states which would normally support Hillary, but the spate of bombings done by people to whom Trump would deny entry has prompted them to reconsider their loyalties, because safety is pretty high on the hierarchy of needs, hence the states are no longer politically secure for Democrats" (This is just my interpretation, maybe the Redpanels author really is encouraging Trump supporters to bomb dumpsters)
