I got up, walked out the door, the security guy just looked at me and suggested he cut my wristband off before I go. He didn't even bother to ask for the blood pressure cuff I was wearing.

I've been having these odd fainting spells. The last thing I recall is crossing the street. Then I wake up in a hospital. Then I just get up and leave. Weird. I still have this blood pressure cuff on my arm. I feel like I should return it.

You should probably also let them figure out what is causing those fainting spells

Both actually! I think I just tripped over some shit and face-planted. I feel great now. I woke up last night to people telling me they needed to x-ray my head and that I had to sign a bunch of forms. (because when you suspect someone is concussed and delirious that is the best time to get get them to sign forms because that sounds totally legally binding, right?) I didn't want my head x-rayed, so I left. I'm still wondering what they thought when some patient just disappeared off the ward.

At least you can keep track of your blood pressure now.

I don't remember a lot, sorry. I probably got really faint and fell face down on the sidewalk or tripped on some irregularity in the sidewalk while I was trying to maintain consciousness. I have a huge bump on my head, so I know I fell.
Anyhow, it was just absolutely surreal. I just got up and walked out the back door. Some hospital security guy looked at me and (thinking I was being released maybe?) offered to cut the wristband off of me before I left. I'm not sure they even knew my name... I was totally in a daze with a blood-pressure cuff on my arm and a bottle of my urine in one hand. Then I just walked home. From "you're concussed and we need to x-ray your head" to "bye" in a few seconds.

They're still gonna bill you $20,000 for the blood pressure cuff

I'm not sure they even know who to bill at this point. Even if they did, good luck guys! Maybe you could try taking blood from a stone.
