As I approached the bank, I was surprised to see a very small motorcar. Looking more intently, I could see that it was being driven by toad. He was going at a speed that did not seem very safe if you ask me.

Perhaps his petrol stick was sticky. But the toad had such a gleeful expression that I have to conclude his speed was his doing. If he isn't careful, it could be his undoing.
