No. 2 CDs only. Even short 45 minute albums these days are being issued on 2 lps because of this whole bogus 'loudness war' and record companies attempting to con hipsters into thinking that having 2 songs on a side of vinyl means less compression and better sound quality.

So, no, an album which nowadays spans 2 CDs.

The loudness war is real.

But yes, issuing a 33 with the contents of a 45 on each side is retarded.

God damn fucking vinyl, I hate that shit other than for historical interest like cylinders and 8-tracks
CDs are vastly superior in so many ways, other than the art is small, but then where the fuck am I going to store thousands of LP sized artworks

If I'm going to pay money at all, I'm paying for a physical object with a reasonable level of preservation ability. So far, pressed CDs do that more so than other options. I don't want to pay for files who's archiving is a little dodgy. I'll gladly listen on youtube and whatever else like a radio, and save mp3 files from time to time (I'd say FLACs if they were the common thing), but I wouldn't pay more than a nickel per tune if I had to pay for that shit.

> Pulse (pink floyd live)

Limpid, by-the-numbers performance, with a butchered Comfortably Numb solo.

> Echoes: The Best Of Pink Floyd

No Dogs, Pigs or Atom Heart Mother = no good overview of Floyd.

I don't really care for albums, I just download songs I like. Does that album contain Material Girl? I love Material Girl!

It doesn't, that's the weakest part of the set. Why listen to that when you can listen to the incomparable studio version of Dark Side of the Moon?

> Not enough barrett floyd either imo

Barret-era Floyd was shit except for Bike and Astronomy Domine.

I like listening to the nuances of live performances

I will disregard any further opinions on pink floyd null and void. Thanks.

So do I, which is why I don't like Floyd live albums. They are just note-for-note reproductions (with the occasional God-awful guitar improvisation thrown in), but with weaker production. I say again, there is no reason to listen to Pulse if you already have The Division Bell and Dark Side of the Moon.

Is There Anybody Out There? is better, but it's still pretty much a note for note rendition of the album except for the addition of 2 tracks (The Last Few Bricks and What Shall We Do Now?) and some amusing Roger Waters ranting.
