Hummmmmm that wood not be so much so hard to do. Surfing compared to Jitterbug dancing or the down hill skiing I do - Geeeeesh you must have no clue how easy it is to Surf. Anyone who has boogie boarded can learn to get up on a board and stay up for at least one good run out of say 8 tries and all in couple3 hours and next day up and stay up after tries and so on - Just ain't rocket science to learn go surf - Jitterbug or Salsa dancing takes more time than that
You must really be unfit out of shape to think Surfing is that big a deal. Do you even walk around the block or drive it

Photo to show just how much intelligence is required to surf and dogs do not actually actively operate a short board the way and teen or me learns the how to's which is IDENTICAL to DOWN HILL Skiing - Its all done on the Edge. One rides the Rail NOT the bottom of the board and dogs are limited to using the bottom only with just a bit of nudge they eventually may learn to micro manage the rail- Super low center of gravity is a major disadvantage a dog has even if they could learn to shift weight to ride the edge

Its just for a quick legal opinion - How wood I say ever again that I have never once posted a single pic of anything on the net. Which is true. I put photos up of technical stuff for clients all the time but they get it directly to their servers and never via any HTTPS/HTML

Them screen caps were not photo shopped. If he has the mods over here believing that then so be it. But I can tell you this. He has been running around like a chicken with its head cut off emailing, and talking to people to figure out who did this to him. Cherrie the Artist that made this Surfboard - Huge number of photos on the web. She is one WONDERFUL Jitterbug dancer.In the recent past I have bought necklaces and ear rings from her as gifts for GF's and other friends Really talented with glass.

You will notice a huge age gap with many many many older Surfers here and North of me in Carlsbad. Its the money for the most part. The age range here is much older and its cause the cost of living here is MUCH MUCH higher than just a few miles away. Also the parking lots for Surfers have daily old dude meet ups often with the younger wife or GF
What bugs me and it does bug me - Why do people think Surfing is all that big a deal? Used boards are almost free around here and anyone will let a stranger borrow a board for a run cause well its just the way we are. Again what really bugs me are all the couch potato we have going on in here.

Me? Today after getting AM Sleep and then more work there was no time for a beach run so I hit the Gym and limited my run on threadmill to 40 mins BUTTTTTT I jacked up the elevation to make me sweat buckets - Got one hell of an Endorphin rush yet not as long lasting as my daily beach runs

Me thinks you should not give your local a try and even after you learn it will be when you are aging b4 you are ready for Mavericks - Hell I have been there and said WHAT THE FUCK I am not about to venture out Plus I Surf much like I ski which is really very much the same - Body shift of weight to keep the edges on the water - You ride the rails NOT the bottom - Only dogs and kids ride the bottom
Jeff as in photo is out here for the Oceanside event once a year and maybe more - He invented how to do Mavericks cause no one else had the balls to give it a try - Just guessing but perhaps south of you towards Santa Cruz to take a few Surf lessons. I have not tried it but people swear that one can learn the balance right on the beach with a simple board so look that up
Also look for a young gal teen to show you the ropes - What you do not need is anyone with a ego helping you start out and girls that I see just helping friends at no charge show a lot more patience
Skis its 100% Edge or not at all. They call downhill skiiers who ride the bottom Snowplowers which is how we all learned the first 2-3 days and never again but even that can be fun

lol not planning on it. ive never watched but the viewing is all weird now. still would like to sometime. there was a dog surfing competition on my real local beach last week so its pretty tame closer by. my friends dad was taken by the sea there last year tho but that was like a freak accident. super sad.

theres a beach i think a little closer to me than mavericks that everyone calls beginners beach and that place is like a wave pool. if i ever get my friends to do it ill do it but for now i just kayak by the jetee.

One of my best memories of a back pack and this I think was the 3rd year in a row of Thanksgiving while on a Big Basin backpack of 2 to 5 days depending on if we had the time and each time it was with friends or new people in the mix as part of a hiking club (of national fame)
Skyline to the Sea Trail with variations. 2 and 3 days minimum - We actually took cooked Frozen Turkey legs - and all the fixings for Thanksgiving dinner - Serious fun from Hiking that trail to skinny dipping in the COLD Water Falls.
I did a solo back pack from Santa Cruz through Big Basin to Los Gatos and my wife picked me up there - Many two car trips over the years.
And that one time around Thanksgiving with rain at night and the next couple 3 days MUSHROOMS of 10,000 types everywhere in every color - Sizes from micro really tiny to HUGE like 3 feet round which maybe took 3 days to get that huge - None of us has a clue which to pick to cook - Did learn how to in Colorado - Mushrooms to die for except you don't die you just wish you could buy them in stores

Water is up a trail in Anaz Borrego - Palm Canyon Two and three palm oasis with a stream that goes all the way up or down as you hike that trail

Buto forget the friends and just hit the Big Basin trails for a day hike. Its a totally amazing place. Can tell you the many times I have run into new people that hung with me or I helped a gal who had blisters and was in tears - I am expert fast blister repair person that can fix a foot and get person totally pain free and ready to roll out on feet in 15 minutes with huge smile and hugs and later even more (ok so just once) but really good people are on trails and happy to share some gorp or as with me I carry a small amount of Cognac to share on trails.

How dimmers work
Many many years ago I was a VP for Universal studios - There as a consultant and its a long story I have posted before so not about to repeat NOW - Reason was CEO lost his 2nd case b4 USA Supercourt re BetaMax ripping off his vast inventory of movies so he shopped for someone that could help him print a full movie on a Vinal Record cause he owned DECCA Records and MCA music - He had lunch with a mass number of Engineers and he asked them if they could print a movie on a such disk and they all said NO Way Jose. I said at lunch hell if I have a clue what can be done on a disk that size
So I offered to find out if the Math Physics fit and looked to see if anyone else was working on such - Found a company who had MCA/Universal as its 2nd largest client for high speed tape duplication - 240IPS to 8 track cassette or Reel to Reel - and in their back pocket they had patented Laser to disk recording - One breadboard sorta working
In the end I bought MCA that company and a slew of others in the mostly Pro Audio for large events Broadcast Studio and Recording Studios - Huge mixing boards for lots of USA Broadway and London and other Eu locations for live and recording studio use - I bought a bunch of small companies to finance the Laser disk to market place product aka Discovision - Failed product but a mass of patents still paying off as if anyone uses a laser to put info on disk or read info on disk it has to use such patents
Why all this text tl:dr cause I looked at buying firms that made those HUGE MOTHER FUCKING MONSTER Dimmers of days of yor - I bet a few are still in operation out your way cause last time I was in Sweden and a theater in Australia that old stuff was still working its ass off
Now any fool can light up a theater with Leds and dimmer is something a child could make out of a few parts taken from an old computer or even old AM radio

Many many years ago I was a VP for Universal studios - There as a consultant and its a long story I have posted before so not about to repeat NOW - Reason was CEO lost his 2nd case b4 USA Supercourt re BetaMax ripping off his vast inventory of movies so he shopped for someone that could help him print a full movie on a Vinal Record cause he owned DECCA Records and MCA music - He had lunch with a mass number of Engineers and he asked them if they could print a movie on a such disk and they all said NO Way Jose. I said at lunch hell if I have a clue what can be done on a disk that size
So I offered to find out if the Math Physics fit and looked to see if anyone else was working on such - Found a company who had MCA/Universal as its 2nd largest client for high speed tape duplication - 240IPS to 8 track cassette or Reel to Reel - and in their back pocket they had patented Laser to disk recording - One breadboard sorta working
In the end I bought MCA that company and a slew of others in the mostly Pro Audio for large events Broadcast Studio and Recording Studios - Huge mixing boards for lots of USA Broadway and London and other Eu locations for live and recording studio use - I bought a bunch of small companies to finance the Laser disk to market place product aka Discovision - Failed product but a mass of patents still paying off as if anyone uses a laser to put info on disk or read info on disk it has to use such patents
Why all this text tl:dr cause I looked at buying firms that made those HUGE MOTHER FUCKING MONSTER Dimmers of days of yor - I bet a few are still in operation out your way cause last time I was in Sweden and a theater in Australia that old stuff was still working its ass off
Now any fool can light up a theater with Leds and dimmer is something a child could make out of a few parts taken from an old computer or even old AM radio

Old dimmers are not really in use any more because of the power consumption and being problematic due to their size weight and heat output. They worked by putting large resistance in front of the current turning energy into heat.
Modern dimmers work by chopping the sine waves and using capacitors to compensate. A little more expensive tech but worth it. Ofc smaller portable dimmers still use the resistance method due to cost as well as any dimmer switches you might have on a domestic property.
So I would imagine less magnetism with modern kit not that I'm ever convinced the low magnetism is in any way harmful, besides these days I'm a desk operator and designer so I don't get my hands dirty anymore. I leave all the rigging to the goyim

@719,018 (Svet !jzYkdX7lIw)I had no clue anyone used resistors to dim Kilowatt plus Lamps - Just looked that up and I see a Saltwater Dimmer - Damn that wood generate Hydrogen. The ones I looked at and three companies were in New York and two in Eu all used Thyristor SCR's Triacs and solid state devices of that Ilk - Except for high power RF Amps I have never worked on any low freq hi power anything that is beyond 1 or so Kilowatts
I do remember huge tapped Autotransformers and I did look at lots of circuits. Glad I passed on that technology - Was fun to view all it took to put a major broadway show on
