and yes, they are delicious. the plan is to hunt this evening then get stoned by a campfire and cook up some bird. the some fishing in the morning and more hunting onve the dove start flying. lonestar will be going with me, we'll be using him to flush. unfortunately he's very much untrained for this, so he won't be doing any retrieving. but he's naturally a point dog so we expect he'll find and flush plenty of birds (they are everywhere right now in east texas.)

can't shoot birds in the city, don't find pigeon in the country. we shoot quail, dove, duck and varmints. just the local game. sometimes hog hunting, but that's further south than i'll be headed this weekend.

aw, rescheduled for next weekend. this was kinda thrown together at the last minute and not everyone can make it, but next weekend should come together much more easily. i'll be sure to post lots of pics after
