Topic: Why Macs and iPhones are better than PCs and Android phones
Anonymous A started this discussion 10 years ago#55,463
Macs and iPhones are the pinnacle of design and quality. They simply will not let you down. A Mac is like a cornucopia of fresh, real food, while a PC is like shitty McDonald's. It simply makes no sense to eat at McDonald's, and it makes no sense to use a PC. PCs are full of bloat and always crash, while a Mac will always work well.

I see you found a new job as a marketer for Apple. Unfortunately, advertising your products here may prove to be less successful due to the lower population. Might I suggest you try your luck here?

lol, that's what my brother keeps saying. he's already on his 3rd mac in 5 years. he bought one when i built my pc, then bought anew one 2 and a half years later... and then just bought a new one this year. i'm still on my same build and have spent about 600 updating it... 2 years ago... i also spent about the same as one of his macs.
build it yourself and there's nothing low quality or arbitrary about it. you get exactly what you want/need and don't have some salesperson pushing you into a cookie cutter "pc for everyone."

You would rather slave away building your own PC out of knockoff Chinese parts instead of buying a high quality Apple computer?

You are aware that Macs aren't anymore faster than a PC. They will get slower over time if proper maintenance isn't applied.

@717,723 (A) > knockoff Chinese parts > Apple computer
Yeah, I'm pretty sure where Apple gets its parts. I'm pretty sure they aren't being made in Ohio.

There is, in fact, a dust-clearing app. Thanks. @previous (F)
Nothing is made in Ohio. Ohio is a state where people think of sandwiches when they hear Subway. Thanks.

But they're "designed in California"!

@OP
Or you could get the PC hardware, throw Ubuntu on it and get even better malware protection for less than half the cost. I'm assuming that's the "problems" he's referring to since Apple gets their hardware from Foxconn like everyone else.
