@OP
Yesterday I watched a big black guy casually grab live blue crabs out of a dirty trench while on the phone. When he found one he didn't want he'd smash it on the tile.

they can do okay with some other fish tho.

we cant rightly keep all the betta in the same tank. when people buy them they are told to not use a tiny flipping vase

@717,189 (kook !!OPZbEQMT1)
evidently they don't if you stock carefully
@previous (more positive 悟)
people arent told that though. also you could just have dividers in the tank so you have water volume and filtration and you still can have a lot of betta

they are told that at responsible fish retailers wink wink
having that many dividers in like a 20 gallon would suck tho most stores stock more fish than that. that's just a pain. its up to whoever gets the dang fish to give it a nice home

so do it like the rest of the world do it, just spread them across the other tanks. the cup thing is extremely stressful and unhealthy

stocking carefully meaning with different species. bettas do fine with other fish (even small ones like neon tetra) if your tank is large enough like in an aquarium store. they just need a large enough area to create a territory
> she is sweet towards us > she immediately attacked a foster puppy they had > our dog had her firmly in her teeth > we have run across several dogs on her walks and she goes absolutely apeshit - trying to get to every dog she sees - presumably to bite them. > My wife cannot walk her because even at 40 lbs she is too strong when she sees another animal. > Last weekend we got a new downstairs neighbor with a chihuahua. Our dog ended up getting away from her handler and went after the chihuahua in the front yard. > In the fracas she bit our new neighbor (4 puncture wounds on arm) which she has been very understanding of. > I am especially concerned that she could go after a small child not realizing they are not an animal. >She is otherwise a great dog.
She's a regular Lassie. Geez whom would have thought that a dog selectively bred to win fights to the death might have a predilection towards fighting?

@previous (kook !!OPZbEQMT1)I like how you get aggressively downvoted for using common sense. I mean you can't judge a dog for biting people, you just have to reason with the dog and use talk therapy and work through its emotional issues.

its infuriating. When that Pitbull kills someone, they'll act all surprised. He was such a sweet baby!

I mean you wouldn't euthanize a kid for attacking people. I mean it was just a minor puncture wound. A pit bull could do so much worse which shows he's just a sweet puppy who had a hard childhood.
