The Rooster as much older is tough and needs a lot of slow cooking to make it edible - It ends up a richer stronger flavor - Here egg laying chickens are pulled from that work after a few weeks and end up as the only chickens sold for markets. Eu and Australia Russia - A chicken in any dish is very different than what we have here. Chickens here basically are tasteless and require lots of gravy or sauce or lots of herbs and garlic on the skin to add any real flavor.
