Citing a post opens a preview type window with the post I am citing at the bottom. So I pop out of the thread, and can't easily cite another post.

Yeah it opens the full reply screen instead of using quick reply. Perhaps it is because of the new type shortcuts?

Yes, there have been a few changes last night, one of which broke these two features. Both should be fixed now.
