When god had created people, he told all the angels to bow down but the smartest of them all, the one second in command, refused to bow down.

Satan for what ever reason, did not bow down. Since then I think a sneaky little curse has always infested humanity. I call it Satan's law. More often than not, if you try to achieve something it will have the opposite affect, that history is filled with dreams being chased only to end up like nightmares.

It's like a person who does all he can to avoid pain and ends up avoiding everything because everything could result in pain. So he ends up in a world of pain.
