So I went shopping and saw a cat food I hadn't used before which contained 75% meat (I normaly feed them high quality dry food) and other natural goodies. So after I fed them they both came to my desk and sat at my feet looking at me - they seemed to have a pleased look about them and now one is on the back of my chair and the other is sitting on my desk.

I believe it's their way of saying "thank you"
