Are the mods of MC trying to imply that shit topics are better than drama topics?
I know that they are trying to help by locking the topics, but I think it defeats the whole purpose of locking a drama thread if you leave shit tier DM wannabes, troll all over the board. If the problem in the drama topic isn't sorted it usually leaks onto another topic or onto another BBS. Thus causing tension in the board and between other boards.
The amount of quality posts in a drama topic far outweigh those in a shit topic. Are we not trying to improve quality here, instead of diminishing it?

I agree, OP. Shitposting of unfunny memes is encouraged, while actual appeals and complaints that warrant attention are silenced. I disagree because I don't think shitposting or meme spouting is encouraged, and I think complaints are taken seriously. I agree that shitposts and recycled content suck, but there really isn't that much, and it doesn't seem to be encouraged. I also agree that it's nice to not be all serious, and I agree that witty shitposts aren't all bad. If they're clever and can make me laugh I'm OK with them.
