Silicon exists in nature, as do flat things with bumps. Therefore, the computer was only discovered, not invented. Thanks.

US 3430966 A - Found an operating Breadboard running in a small lab in Santa Monica Ca and in small moments in time it became DiscoVision a product of epic failure YET now contains a huge patent library which is the only basis for DVD-DVR-Anything Optical memory which of course will one day end up replaced by Static devices (Except in Optical form the laws of Physics says IT will always do far more than what can be done on a silicon chip
AND There is no reason why a 5 nanometer silicon chip cannot have 64K layers accessed by multiple laser beams (position of said beams already has a patent application in process)
Lots of science progress can be made on the backs of others who have done great works but the patents are buried and are inactive because no one with vision has applied such
PS: I cannot take credit for pulling out the breadboard and getting DVD DVR's TVio as is known up and running because that honor goes to the Asshole who owned MCA/Universal studios who only demanded I find a way for him to record his movies on a Record he pressed making Rock n Roll music and of course some Movie soundtracks n such

Edit: okay, reading that back, it sounded a bit dickish. Bob seemed to be a smart guy, and his patent was probably a good contribution to his industry at the time.
I'm just amused by how Chris and Barb bragged about it, and seemed to big up its importance.
