This may come as some surprise, but I've never done a deep-fried Twinkie before. I guess I could pop down to Walmart and get some Twinkies and work something out.
I guess I'd do a nice sweet batter with eggs, flour, vanilla, and sugar. Fry for 3 mintues and dust with powdered sugar. Put some whipped cream on them and maybe drizzle with raspberry syrup. Serve with pink Franziæ and espresso.
I'd have to change my fryer oil though because it has fried chicken taste in it which would clash with the Twinkies.

Honestly I wouldn't even bother with the packaged Hostess fried Twinkies. Prepackaged fried foods often taste a bit rancid (and they use hydrogenated oils which taste like crap).

Yes, 5+ times a week. They're actually a lot safer than a pan because they have a built in thermostat so your oil won't catch on fire.

Problem is - Instead of your heart giving out to the point that you're dead dead dead. You probably will have some kind of stroke and end up in a bed being spoon fed the rest of your life. You may even find that acceptable EXCEPT you really don't think they are going to spoon feed you fried food. Probably Pablum 3 meals a day

I've been trying to cut back with varying success. Honestly it's harder to quit frying than it is to quit drinking. Some people get a sugar rush and feel good eating sweet things but I'm wired differently and I get a "fat rush" and I get serious endorphins from high-fat foods. I don't actually eat many sweets, never drink soda, very rarely eat any candy. Fat is my thing.

My final post for this early Sat AM cause Surf is UP in AM and Tide is SUPER LOW so Sleep me need and I do have more work then is fair to have for a Weekend but my Sat evening will be if as planned b terrific
When I have that need for Fried then its going to be Tempura - Shrimp or Veggies and sure Fried Chicken but I insist on Cast Iron Pan Fried the way Mom makes it
Takes so long and is so much turning over n over that Chicken - I do that on my Propane Bar-B-Q so its outside as I just do not like the Oil smell in the kitchen after
I have three B-B-Q's and only one is Propane and YES it does end up getting used far more often - Smoking food takes so fucking much time EXCEPT the Chinese way in a Wok - That is like 20 minutes - Prep however is like 45 minutes

I got some when they were re-introduced to stores and they actually tasted pretty good and fresh. I think because the supply chain had been "flushed out" by the Hostess bankruptcy.
