Toaster Is AC in and just an alloy wire is directly connected across the AC line to heat up and make toast. Unplug and the only thing that happens is you still can burn shit out of fingers or dick if you stick such in the hot wire in toaster.

That's only for those pocket toasters that attach to your cellphone case. They can keep a charge for a few days if you arent constant making sandwiches
