I just reached out to some contacts in the academic community (to be more specific, a Faculty of Philosophy in Austria). And I got in touch with the lead of the Chinese department of the faculty. She teaches Chinese language and literature.
She told me she only reads Simplified Chinese, can't read traditional.
She's 35 years old, moved to Europe at the age of 32. Pls explain.
