I did something wrong and a very close friend took it very seriously, he was very hurt. On one hand I understand i did something shity. The other hand, we are so close that I'm disappointed that something like what I did should affect him that much, so much that apparently he can't trust me ever again.
I don't know, he is a good friend and I was wrong to do what I did. However if the tables were reversed, I wouldn't really care if he did what I did.

I have a dream. That one day every person on Minichan will control their own destiny.
A Minichan of the truly free, dammit. A Minichan of action, not words, ruled by strength, not committee! Where the moderation changes to suit the individual, not the other way around. Where power and moderation are back where they belong: in the hands of the posters! Where every poster is free to post - to troll - for themselves!
Fuck all these limp-dick moderators and chickenshit sycophants. Fuck this 24-hour spew of tranny and namefag bullshit! Fuck Minichan pride! Fuck the media! FUCK ALL OF IT!
Minichan is diseased. Rotten to the core. There's no saving it - we need to pull it out by the roots. Wipe the slate clean. BURN IT DOWN! And from the ashes, a new Minichan will be born. Evolved, but untamed! The weak will be purged and the strongest will thrive - free to post as they see fit, they'll make Minichan great again!
In the new Minichan, people will argue and troll for what they BELIEVE! Not for the butthurt, not for status! Not for what they're told is cool. Every poster will be free to post in their own way!

The Dereks support Denmark Guy, but this further proves that Iceland Guy was, in fact, the superior Guy. Thanks

U were placed in a position of trust and abused it in order to gain at his expense
One dollar or a million it makes no difference he was trusting you not to steal from him

you stole from your friend. value doesn't matter, it could've been a few dollars or a few hundred, doesn't matter. pretty dick move, and you're not deserving of trust after that. from his perspective he should be thinking, "I can't believe that he would risk our friendship over a few trifling dollars, our relationship must not mean much to him at all." you seem to think he should excuse what you did because of the small value of what you took, but instead he should see the value of what you took as an indication of how little you value your friendship.
you put an actual number value on your friendship, and it turns out to be pathetically cheap. learn your lesson, don't steal from friends. otherwise you'll lose them.

like i said, you were the one who put the value of the relationship down to a few measly bucks worth of drugs. this is your fault for stealing, retard, not his fault for being mad about it.

Well my friend has done more awful deeds then I would ever dream of. Yes, my friend has been involved with more than just drugs. We go way back and he is like a big brother to me, it is sad that he can't stay reasonable and see the worth i took for what it is, instead acting like I'm a dog who's sole reason is to follow his command

> Well my friend has done more awful deeds then I would ever dream of.
Oh? what did he do to you?
> Yes, my friend has been involved with more than just drugs.
What does this have to do with anything? he's done some bad things so stealing from him should be cool? stealing from friends is not the same thing as victimizing a stranger, bro.
> We go way back and he is like a big brother to me, it is sad that he can't stay reasonable and see the worth i took for what it is, instead acting like I'm a dog who's sole reason is to follow his command
I don't get how him being upset you stole from him is the same as him treating you like a dog. you should have some respect for your friends, man.

He didn't do anything to me but his friends. It matters because he is morally bankrupt.... at worst. What i have done is nothing compared to what he has done, so to act as if any harm has been done to him, it's clownish.
squeegee replied with this 10 years ago, 5 minutes later, 3 hours after the original post[^][v]#707,328
> He didn't do anything to me
but you DID do something to him. you stole from him. you violated his trust and your friendship.
> but his friends. It matters because he is morally bankrupt.... at worst.
so he never did anything to you, but because he's done some bad then trespasses against him should be excused? that's not how trusting someone works, dude. that's not how forgiveness is handled.
> What i have done is nothing compared to what he has done
well, lets compare. he stole from other people who are not you. he never stole from you, but instead offered friendship to the point that he never backstabbed you.
you on the otherhand stole directly from him. instead of honoring that friendship you violated his trust and DID backstab him...
> so to act as if any harm has been done to him
harm WAS done to him. he was stolen from, had his trust broken, and lost someone he thought was a friend. someone he thought he could trust.
> it's clownish.
you're clownish

it's sad that you don't see this as a mistake on your part for stealing from a friend and instead seem to think the mistake is on him for not excusing you and continuing to trust you and be your friend. it sounds like the morally bankrupt person here is you for failing so miserably at recognizing how hurtful your actions were regardless of the monetary value. i learned when i was 5 or six that stealing GI Joe action figures is wrong as fuck and will cost friendships. value doesn't matter, but your fucking actions DO. you need to learn some basic fucking empathy, dude.

Might as well give it up everyone.
Denmark Guy is the victim here, and the guy he stole from is the criminal.
No matter how you spell it out, Denmark just won't believe he is at fault.

No, much worse than stealing. You act like he couldn't have done anything worse but he has, and even though what I did was wrong and ain't justified by what he has done...... I simply ask to be treated as a friend and a equal, this does not mean as someone incapable of bad.

YES IT IS YOU STUPID FUCK FACE! You stole from him and violated trust and friendship! he IS PERFECTLY JUSTIFIED if he doesn't want to be your friend anymore!
> I simply ask to be treated as a friend and a equal, this does not mean as someone incapable of bad.
you didn't treat him like a friend when you stole from him, you slimy sack of shit! this whole fucking thing is your god damned fault, and you're the only one being unreasonable.
you are fucking wrong and your friend is absolutely doing the right thing if he chooses to end the friendship. what the fuck is wrong with you, dude?

how convenient. cant say i'm surprised that you'd just dismiss and ignore anything that doesn't conform to your warped worldview. no one in this thread has agreed with you, and everyone is calling you out for being a thief and a bad friend. but, everyone else is wrong and you're right. again.
you've learned nothing, you're not even remorseful that you stole something from a friend. all you care about is how it effects you, you don't give a fuck about anyone else. you can ignore me all you want, but this is how everyone sees you, bro.

it's also pretty sad how quickly you throw your "friend" under the bus when you call him morally bankrupt. you obviously don't have a high opinion of him. you're trying to justify why he should excuse your stealing by vilifying him and casting him in a very bad light. throw HIM to the wolves, tarnish HIS name, ANYTHING to make yourself look better.
fucking shameful, dude. you should be embarrassed

The problem with arguing with Denmark guy, is that he believes reality and morals are entirely subjective. And he just so happens to perceive a reality where his opinions are always logical and morally correct.

@707,374 (RWBY Rhubarb? !!iNo3FkiZx)
i wonder if he can understand consequences. i wonder what he thought would happen if he got caught, or if consequences even occurred to him. he's implied several times that he personally wouldn't have gotten mad if the situation was reversed, so maybe he ran the scenario and saw an outcome where his friend just brushed it off? even after emphatically saying No to begin with, it would suddenly be okay if it went stolen? his friend obviously wanted that weed, i'm sure he was supremely pissed after saying No only to see it disappear. i wonder if D-g understood how pissed his friend would be, and did it anyway, or if he doesn't imagine consequences rationally.
i think you're right, he sees so much subjectivity to morals that i think he literally doesn't know right from wrong on anything more than a superficial level. he knows what IS right and wrong in general (laws, customs, etc), but doesn't understand why, so he can't be trusted to tell the difference when it's not exactly black and white. and even then he can't always make heads or tails of it.
