Local or general anaesthesia? I had all of my wisdom teeth removed a few years back under general anaesthetic, the swelling was a bitch for two days after but there was surprisingly little pain. Good luck OP!

Oral surgery is sketch. When i had to get my wisdom tooth pulled, he asked if i wanted to waste the money on a little high, and i thought about drinking with my hydros after anyways, so he gave me the shot, i opened up, and it felt like he was digging a rock out of my skull.
No pain afterwards, although that tooth HAD been cracked and harbored a cavity for 5 years.

I woke up during the procedure.
Afterwards I bled for several days, enough that I couldn't eat or take my pain medication because of nausea from the blood running down the back of my throat.
Easily one of the worst experiences of my life.
Having surgery without anesthesia was ten times better.

I once had 4 Wisdom tooth's. Three removed. The tooth next door to my lower left tooth needed a root canal which did not go so much so well and ended up as pull OUT
Wisdom tooth next door re-routed self and totally filled in so perfect that dentists I later needed could not even tell it was the Wisdom tooth doing double duty.

Mine were pretty painless. They stuck me with a needle and told me to sit back and count backwards from ten. I got to about six before I went out. The next thing I know I'm swimming back into consciousness to find myself sitting in the waiting room. Some guy hands me a small plastic bag with four teeth inside. "Here, these are yours." he says, "Don't drive home." The pain was pretty intense for the next few hours, but I went home and mostly slept through it. Later that day the pain had subsided to just a dull ache.

I cried the entire time but nothing went wrong. The needles were god awful though. Now I'm numb and getting Percocet s
