The Internet is so hungry for dox that just about any autist can take credit and have their real name and face associated with some crap you made.

It is easier to just let them have it, since they will probably never make any money from it and the hassle of being constantly trolled is punishment enough in my opinion.

I almost think of them as sort of like westward expansionists. They find some content that is 'not being used' and use it.

I suppose it is better for the works to see new life than for them to fade into permanent obscurity.
