The nice thing about feminism is that through it many tend to forget all the world's problems. The struggle gets simplified in that you belong to a group (female) and the only problem this group faces is patriarchy. No feminist would actually admit this but that's because ideological bribery happens without you noticing, so it's like you follow a certain belief without believing in it.
An example of this is UN women, they only help women which is nothing wrong but in helping only women it's like they ignore how helping women also involves helping their community and family which is also made up of males. So your brother is taken as a child soldier, your mom disappears looking for him, your father becomes a alcoholic BUT don't worry! UN women are going to try and make men do equal house work.

I'm saying that your simplified view of it borders on being a strawman. People can and do make simplified stereotypes of movements or ideas, especially when they are on the outside of that movement idea.
