To me his text voice is what convinces me it's him. There are deliberate differences of course, because he's trying to throw people off, but he has some constructions and reactions which would be very difficult to mimic. His 'automatic' stuff is where he's tried to slightly change his text voice (all that 'nice madpost' and TG stuff), but his responses to being pushed back on - the moments when he breaks character - are unmistakably him.
As for TC, I agree it is strange how he's been frightened off there. Who is that 'Dr Whom' guy who posts there with the same trip, is it definitely not Doc?

Its a very deep seated feeling from the gut. I'm a pretty good guesser and it doesn't feel right. The images used to react aren't right. There is no personality, and I'll bet that the impersonator is a bit dull as well.

He still does that now. We can agree to disagree on this but I'm convinced it's him. You can fake the things he is faking but you can't fake the things he is failing to hide.

That's my theory too, and why I don't believe it's an impersonator. The fact is, the sheer amount of time Doc devotes to his shtick on the internet almost beggars belief. Many many hours of every single day posting the same few things over and over and over and over and over again for literally years, and keeping track of every tiny detail of every other poster who ever posts on any of the boards. Who the fuck else in this world is that bereft of a life that they would go to the effort of mimicking that??? What would be the point of doing it? Doc did it because he had nothing else to do but why would somebody else copy it?
