By far no expert. Been there on several Cell system projects. For Qualcomm and Globalstar. Globalstar has several ground multi dish Satellite up/down links albeit I can only legally identify the Beijing operation cause well China says so.
Now if you pay close attention to FatFuck you discover it was as if he went out of his way to get TB and a very damaged lung n body. For multiple years he posted from China on the China forum how he needed to get his body working in good order again cept no one wood go on bike rides with him. People found him disgusting and said he smelled funny.
What I never could figure out is why he ended up in a horrid Industrial city like Kunming. Had NO Charm when so many Chinese cities do. Lots of work for Expats in those other cities. Nor could I find out exactly why Expats chose Kunming other than cause they married in2 a situation or as many said THEY COULD GET DRUNK REALLY ON THE CHEEP.
Just seemed to me that with other cities with more decent food and one wood assume the same cheep booze Y Kunming when everyone other than Fatfuck said the city was horrid just horrid.
Apparently Kunming still uses that old world solution to rotting food. Just load it up with Chile paste and hot peppers and burn the tongue so no one will no what is in the mouth.
90% of the other Expats kept saying all the other cities of China had much better and edible food. Most again were stuck re a hook up situation.
Compare horrid parts of China like Kunming to Detroit. One can in one hour get to a more better place. Not in Kunming unless you fly to some other place in one hour.
Bottom line is still when people end up cooking food in Raw Sewer Juice - There is just no excuse for such
