So like I end up with a tiny small mostly insignificant fixed price task for the State of California. A contract I entered into by request for and to help a Cal Gov telecom agency aka "California Public Utilities Commission."
I just burned up 100% of my allocated client billing time only to discover at the very end They have a system glitch Nor do they have a single person on staff who can correct it and I by law am not allowed to touch their system even though I have the super user password they provided me for this one simple task.
I could just walk away and see if they will sue me?
UPDATE - I said to self what the fuck and I want this to be an extra special GREAT Day - Albeit its again, Island Soupy super high humidity weather that only people like kook is equipped to survive.
So I just broke California State Laws and accessed the Data base that has the glitch that prevents me from solving a basic simple Math Problem that any 2nd year Calculus student could solve in 12 minutes or so by hand with a double check for correctness. Yikes a sting of 9's Wtf?
Hell I just called and talked to the top IT person in charge of the UNIX system and She looked and said to me - Oooooops why are all the digits 9's a string of 64 9's when the integer is limited to a max of 9 digits where the only integer not permittedis the NUMBER 9.
So as to continue to vent - She of course can correct the glitch AFTER a Three day Investigation to see how this occurred.
I on the other hand have run out of and way beyond any possible way to recover my lost hours on this simple project.
I took this minor project on as a favor to an Executive of a Cell provider to do a favor to the State of California who can not always afford what they need when they need it.
Problem to solve? Help an area not far from where Cathy lives that is out of bounds range for Cell service - A minor State office that does not have land line connect or even AC power other than what they generate on their own. Cell service is by happenstance when the weather is just right and the wind is not blowing and air density is best for 1200 MHz connect.
Steal some service where there is some money to be made and give it to State of Calif office where no money is made yet they provide a necessary service to help land creatures in the wilderness - So I will suck it up and think more highly of Mountain Goats n such in near future and find another way to fill my wallet with some cold hard cash State of Calif no can afford to pay me for the work preformed.
Rant over - will wait now and see if Butthole presses the report button or followed my advise and blocks my posts from his Butthole view.

Nope at best I get to buy back stock I used for collateral for my daughters education. Wanted a new BMW but settled for the Mustang.

Which powertrain did you purchase?
Unless you got the base engine sans most of the compelling features you could have gotten a 2 series.
I hope when I'm 87 I am not haggling over secretary spec mustang convertibles :(

87? Your Math stinks
Nope on this one I decided I get to much sun as it is so its the first non convertible in like 3 decades. Nor did I go for the V8 and Manual transmission and again the first Automatic in like 5 decades
What I do like most about it is the rear wheel drive which matches close with my former BMW - I still have two BMW's and will soon offload the older one. Lots of people around here will take it for top dollar
Funny how I have owned Porsche Alfa Romeo and BMW's and wood not be alive if not for the handling of the Alfa. Less fish tail then anything else I have owned and twice did something stupid at high speed and damn it was like 90 degree turn at 75 or more on2 a dirt road off of Sunset Bvd and it just fucking amazed the shit out of me.

LOL it taint a V4 so you do the math
Given I needed to trade off getting my Google Qualcomm IBM etc stock back from Harvard Med I kept the total cost down Plus a client has a deal with Ford for something electronic of the future so I got a more better than fleet price on it.
Now IF I do as well as I expect2 I will get my new BMW in December and give this thing to a GF who will drive it to New York City
Anyway this Mustang is very much plain vanilla and even looks like it

Given that most sports cars I have owned were Red and both of the BMW's are Cobalt Blue
Yes surprised and even more so that you have replied without being a Butthole 2nite
