yeah i make sure to cover it when brushing and also do the mouthwash shite. also i asked my dentist a few weeks ago and he said it looked fine. still spooky though since a small bit of the tooth is kinda transparant.

For a chipped tooth, all you need is a bonding of a resin material on the end to extend it to normal length.

I chipped a little piece of tooth off holding a pen in my teeth. I wasn't clamping hard or anything but it definitely took a piece off somehow. I don't chew on pens or pencils either, but if my hands are full I'll hold onto one with my teeth.

I chipped the very bottom right corner off one of my front teeth like 15 years ago by hitting it on a bathtub (slipped in the shower and hit my mouth on the edge of the tub -- it was porcelain enamel tub, too). It's a very tiny 1mm diagonal chip off the corner. It has not caused any problems or symptoms.
