Kook, have you ever noticed that white men with black names ("Leroy," "Dwayne") tend to be unusually racist? To what do you attribute this phenomenon?

Well it might come from living in the south and being constantly around black people. But they aren't actually more racist, they are just racist in a different way.

As a "Marcus" I will tell you I tend to be less racist. Usually when I tell people my name they ask me to repeat it. Then they sort of shake their heads and go about their business. It sort of foils the expectancy that only black men are named certain names. It doesn't make me more racist. It just makes me more aware of how people stereotype you based on your name alone.
