Topic: How come no liberals proposed this?

Creating a new human city for all 9 billion humans on Earth? We would barely fill up the Grand Canyon so why shouldn't we build a single city while we let nature reclaim her bounty?

I don't know who the fuck liberals even are these days because this left/right march to hell is horseshit, but anyway it's usually some cheerful rightist who claims that we could all fit fine into Texas whenever someone notices that there are a fuckload of people having a hell of an effect on the world. I didn't get my invite to Texas. How would that stop us from fishing the fish the fuck right out of the ocean anyway. The point is that the other creatures are squeezed the fuck out unless they manage to live right off us, such as the coyotes that have figured out how to eat our loose cats.

ugh culinary classification is more relevant to most people's lives than taxonomic classification, white people, therefore, are properly classified as fish ugh

BEACUASE WE COULDN'T ALL LIVE IN THE GRAND CANYON. THE FOOD AND WATER AND POWER NEEDS WOULDN'T FUCKING WORK FOR BILLIONS OF PEOPLE. YOU CAN'T FEED BILLIONS OF PEOPLE OUT OF SPARSE DESERT AND THE COLORADO RIVER WHICH BARELY PROVIDES WATER FOR CALIFORNIA!

Yeah, Sorry Cath. I know you want a utopian, Star Trek future where everything is efficient and everyone's life makes sense. I do to. I'm just mad it will never happen for me. But everyone living in the Grand Canyon isn't going to work ever.

The earth was perfectly efficient at managing itself, until humans started trying to be more than just another species of animal. It just wasn't enough to be alive, oh no. We had to go and become the masters of everything.

Actually somewhat possible, although it's not a very developed technology yet
