I read that this has happened multiple times in Turkey. The secularism-supporting military overthrowing the government to try and safeguard secularism and democratic values (as they see it). And that seems to be what's happening again now, going by the military's announcement on Turkish TV.Here are some Turkish soldiers inside the offices of Turkey's state TV.

The Turkish military does have a history of staging a coup when secularism and democracy are at stake.

Obama now all of a sudden supporting Erdogan, while I'm 99% sure the coup was initiated by the US.
But sure, now he stands on the side of Erdogan, there will be evidence that "Russia started it all" and with the NATO forces already waiting on the Russian border, USA is going in.

Welp, looks like the coup is already failing. Over 700 of the coup soldiers have been arrested, including several officers. Police and civilian protest seem to have nipped this in the bud.

False flag OP. It was the most amateurish attempt of a coup ever. Done at the wrong time of the day (you do this at dawn, to catch all the politicians sleeping at home). You don't let the president you want to take down fly around in an airplane (ffs, they had fighter jets, should have forced him to land and take him in). They didn't even shut down electricity. And most of all what this smells like false flag... the surrendering after a few hours.
Aftermath: Erdogan gains more power and as I said... this will be somehow blamed on Russia.
Believe what you want faggots, I think I'll move to a cazy place far up north in Norway/Sweden within the next 12 months.
