When some people try to insure their car, they have to pay more than expected because according to their check list the person is more likely to crash their car. Sometimes similar things happen in business and the outcome is this cold refusal of business, your not good enough.

You are examined and judged like a product to see if you will profit them. So I say, if you are (for example) renting a house and you somehow damage it and just generally take bad care of it..... Don't feel guilty for the land lord, you are only a product and the landlord made a bad business call on you. They dropped the ball by allowing you to rent the place, you can't blame the product for being a product, blame the one who made it.

huh yeah that is how businesses work
i don't think it's great but that's how it happens when insurance is handled by the private sector.

also i don't think anyone feels guilty about damaging a rented place, just bad that they're gonna have to pay for it.

Yeah maybe, but it can be a lot more broader.
