It was a study of 500 Italian Uni students, measuring their attitude to gays with the Homophobia Scale™, then evaluating them with a psychometric test looking at their Defence Mechanisms® (Pathological™, Immature™, Neurotic™, Mature™), and some other things (psychoticism, depression, hostility, anxiety, etc.). Their definition of anti-social probably isn't the one you're thinking of — this kind of anti-social, not this kind.
All the article says is "prejudice against homosexuals is strongly correlated with a number of (mostly unpleasant) psychological traits", and that's pretty much what the study found.

To our knowledge, this is the first study assessing both the psychologic and psychopathologic characteristics that could have a predictive in homophobia development. In fact, we found that psychoticism represented an important risk factor for homophobia, demonstrating that pathologic personality traits are involved in homophobic attitudes. Psychoticism characterizes many aspects of human thought, but its delineation in a clinical setting pertains to, above all, severe psychopathologic conditions, such as delusion, isolation, and interpersonal alienation, but also hostility and anger.
They also found that depressive symptomatology™ in participants corresponded to a lower risk of homophobia, which is intredasting. Or maybe not. Kidding mostly, but I think you're drawing a much wider conclusion than the authors of the study did. All its doing is suggesting those traits are more common in those scoring higher on a scale of homophobia. In Italy. Amongst University students. In a study declaring itself the 'first of its kind'.
Okay the first bit of this was disingenuous, psychoticism =/= psychosis, but still, I didn't want to start linking studies correlating black people with antisocial behaviour!

In a sense it does, as the world is becoming more and more connected, where it's becoming more and more frowned upon to only socialize within one particular group, unless you're Jewish or Muslim.
