As I understand it, Black Lives Matter is not one big organization but a loosely associated coalition like Anonymous. Anyone could do anything and say they represent Black Lives Matter.

It is equally unfair. There are bad people in every profession: bad lawyers, bad truck drivers, bad doctors, etc. This has always been and will always be. The emphasis should be on penalizing and removing bad people from the profession.
The snipers were certainly protesting but in a most counterproductive fashion.

Is this really the black life that matters though? Alton Sterling, a violent felon and convicted child molester, had been brandishing an illegal gun and resisted arrest.
I could understand protests about a black man doing nothing wrong being shot and killed. This martyr of theirs is probably on par with the gang member that robbed a shop and bum rushed the cop.
The media is going to be very sympathetic to the police after this. I'd like to see where BLM go with their hate speech now

This is the problem, like Anonymous was for me, for loosely knit and un-organized organizations...
Let me explain how it went down for Anonymous, and then Occupy. I was not really involved in either movement, but did give both groups some 'helpful advice', like I am about to inadvertantly leave here for the rest of you.
At the start of Anonymous, it was a well crafted masterful piece of work. The concept was to break free from the very concepts that bind us to the floor, that would free the entire world if only we could break free from it.
Conceptually, anonymous was created by those of us that recognized that if individuals were to break free of 'concepts of bondage' in any society - the more people that did so, the freer we become as a whole.
So at first, what Anonymous really was meant to be was a masterful way of expressing what is your bondage, and how a person, and then a group of friends, and then communities, then states, then nations, then the international community - can break free from the very concepts, mental thoughts, feelings, emotions, propaganda - entire systems of law, rule, community standards and ways of doing things that keep us all in our exact positions in society.
The concept was masterful indeed. Because if there were a way to cause everyone to realize that the world is only this way because it was a designed system imagined and implemented by those before us, that it was all a system done by man - then surely man can also un-do all of these things, and reimplement entire ways of life - globally.
And it all started, with a mere recognition of concepts..
Occupy started out similarly with noble concepts. It was a recognition that concepts like greed, inequity, and unfairness are not only to the detriment of the people at the bottom, but also people at the middle - and eventually all persons in any economic system.
So Occupy was essentially an economic conceptual recognition..
Fast forward a few years in between, when these movements gained traction - so I can show you how they ended.
Both Anonymous and Occupy were labeled a threat to the public, and members to some degree were labeled as 'terrorists'.
Unlike the BLM movement has become, nobody from Anonymous or Occupy were actual 'terrorists', or any actual threat to the public, and none of its members had killed anyone, or at least none that I heard of..
As the movements gained traction, those ugly concepts that infests every good movement infested these movements. Before it all went down, members of both Anonymous and Occupy wanted global government collapse, and immediate and inconceptual laws in their places - and massive, violent protests.
When it all went down, it went fast. There are members of Anonymous serving basically life prison sentences, and there are members of Occupy whose lives are permanently ruined - when all it was ever meant to be was this:
A recognition of concepts that if we overcome these concepts mentally, and enough of us come to the understanding and realization - then naturally things will change, without any action.
What happened was people wanted these things here and now, and took to protest, and as time went on they got irritated, and stressed, and hopeless.
And then, regardless of who these people were, even being marginally attached to either of these groups was a very undesirable thing, even with military implications.
That is what I will leave you all with today.
The way to create change in the world is to understand one another, and understand that this is all the result of concepts and systems that were designed by the ideologies of centuries worth of rulers, elites, and poor people alike.
The only way to undo such societal structures isn't through protest or violence - but through slow and steady learning, education, and teaching one another.
I am befuddled, if such a word can be chosen, at all the rage, anger, resentment, hate, etc. that I see here and now every day.
If you all continue this course, civil war will eventually happen. And it looks like the type of civil war we will be fighting will make absolutely no sense to the rest of the world.
Is this what everyone wanted out of civil rights movements? Civil chaos? Look around you. It doesn't matter what category we are in right now, everybody is a mess. The last thing to do here is escalate into a war zone.
I don't hate any of you. I will never shoot at any of you. I will never stab any of you, I will try to never even verbally insult any of you, unless you are family and I am out of line.
Why can't you do the same for one another? A little cooperation, acceptance, and then if we want change faster - then start petitions, or start dialogues with your senator, or governor.
But this?
nah this dude was acting alone. He is not representative. There is a lot of anger towards white cops but most people wouldn't take it so far as to kill them.
