first world problems are safe. complaining about actual problems might compel people to take action and put themselves in some danger. and first world problems will never change because there's a lack of urgency that allows people to not do anything about it but write a blog. so it's safe, again, in that you'll never actually have to be responsible for social change.
it's couch potato activism, and any kind of activism that can't be done in comfort and safety is of no interest to SJWs.
