That video is sadly common. You have an obese autist who has violent tantrums that harm his mother and makes life hell for his little sister. It's more common than people think. The next big issue in the states would be on how we deal with all the autists over 21. That's when the funding drys up by Federal Mandate and States/Localities take over. Let's just say the cost of these individuals is massive ( 30,000 - 40,000 ). They can't live on their own, or feed themselves a reasonable diet even. The State pretty much pays babysitter to these individuals or they will end up on the streets, since a large chunk of autists have parents who were in their 40's when they conceived the little bugger.

I'm not even counting the violent/emotional types that use an inordinate amount of social services and live on government assistance past childhood. Maybe some of the Asperger programming savant's and those with rich parents can shoulder their own cost, but most aspies aren't capable of doing that. If you care about them than donate to organizations like Autism Speaks.
