I feel sorry for Dave, in a way. He did some noteworthy things as Prime Minister, legalising gay marriage, increasing his party's seats in the general election to secure a majority, and seeing off a Scottish attempt at independence. But all of that is overshadowed by how his referendum gamble took the UK out of the EU.

He also helped stabilise the economy, taking some very unpopular but probably crucial decisions along the way.
I don't like him much, and I'm no Tory fan, but hearing his voice begin to break during his resignation speech really got to me. He's been a good PM, I think, and I hope he isn't remembered solely for this.
