For those with Gold in any form its good for sale today

For those looking to buy oil cheap its good unless its British oil which is now not worth so much

DW its empowerment - Brits are huffing n puffing with chest out with Attitude. A temporary feel good until days n weeks go buy when it sets in that going it on own might be truly costly
Especially when Eu is going to make it hard for UK to be happy in the future

Not its not at all about being oppressive. Its all about being mean as fuck Oppressive and making life hell for UK and only because UK has to be made an example so the other members do not get the same ideal.

Damn world wide markets so far are in tumble down down going down

It won't, really. It was a vote for long-term economic instability and diplomatic regression.

But, as Svet and people like him have made clear, nationalist sentiments are more important to them. The economy and international unity are expendable, apparently.

@695,004 (A)
No "might". I did vote Conservative, and I stand by that choice. He wasn't perfect, but I think Dave was a good leader.

I can only hope that Boris, the highly likely successor, is as competent. I've read that he's not all that different to Dave, Europe aside, so maybe it won't be so bad. A bad/controversial Prime Minister would be especially harmful, right now.

I do too. I read that he was close to tears, towards the end of his resignation speech.

Approve of his policies or no, I think it's fair to say that the guy had his heart in the job, and was trying to do his best for the UK (as he saw it).

Hey, Svet, the SNP are now strongly pushing for another Scottish referendum. Do you think that will be good for the UK? Do you think it will go nicely with the economic downturn?

Take or leave it. It's up to the Scots but I suspect that as time goes by and the Scottish referendum gets closer things won't look quite so bad and they could decide to stay yet again. Either way I'll be cool with a England and Wales union.

Oh, you suspect it will all work out? Well that's okay, then. It's not like this outcome will burn any more economic and diplomatic bridges.

Fuck. I don't want to emigrate or anything, but I don't feel at all connected to this country's direction, right now. Considerably tough times are likely ahead and the UK brought them on themselves. I am really interested to see if many Leave voters change their views, a while after the UK officially exits the EU.

It's not a hunch that I suspect things won't be as bad as advertised. I've had plenty of reason to believe that the scaremongering is mostly bullshit.

Once the dust settles Europe and the world need to get on with business, the UK will continue to be a major player like we have been for hundreds of years.

You whiny little faggots who suddenly don't feel British or connected to the country because democracy didn't go your way this once time make me laugh. It's not the country that's the problem it's you and the fact that you won't grow up.

Several times I've put forward compelling, sourced evidence saying that the Brexit would do long-lasting damage. Not once have you been able to respond with anything more than vague assertions that things will work out, and how the experts must be wrong. You can't even do it now, and you act like the facts are on your side.

You've quite simply jumped into this decision wilfully ignoring the inconvenient facts. To put it politely, that was not a smart nor informed thing to do.

Also, I didn't say I don't feel British, just not connected to the country's current course. That's no different to you complaining about the government being too liberal and such.

You know, Svet, sometimes I feel like we could have a decent conversation, without all the vitriol. Would you be interested in that? Because sometimes you come across as fairly level-headed and reasonable in tone. But then you go on with the insults and the trolling.

I admit, I do pretty much always go conversations with you carrying bad expectations. Though that has come from a while of you seemingly having a problem with me.
