Take some bread and butter it then spread jam on it (grape, strawberry, w/e). Then put a layer of mini marshmallows on top of it and pop it in the toaster oven on broil for a few minutes. Remove when the marshmallows are golden brown. Sprinkle with chocolate chips. Serve.

It's not bad! ?
The toast delivers a satisfying crunch with the warm gooey jam layer in the middle. The toasted marshmallows add a lovely flavor and texture. I rate it 8/10 would definitely make again.

But how does it pair with scotch?

Scotch n Peanut butter are a good match. Marshmallows me thinks is to sweet for Scotch.
I hate to think what happens if one is not very careful with timing inside toaster. Get it wrong or doorbell rings etc and one could decide its not worth getting the carbon goo out of Toaster.
Could even be a hazard re carbon mess shorting out the elements n blow a breaker.

I never have anything sweet in my sandwiches or on my bread. I mainly have peanut butter or delicious salami, cheese, ketchup and low fat marge in my sandwiches which I then grill until the marge and salami juices get absorbed into the bread and the bread turns golden brown and is crispy. Delicious. I have actually lost a lot of weight pretty much eating only sandwiches. I am a maverick of cooking though ;)

I find, after a few Scotches, everything pairs well with Scotch.
