Yes. I used to get matches ever so sneakingly from the kitchen. Then, my neighbor hood friends and I would get branches from trees to light up so we could "burn" the ant hills on fire. Fire was so cool. So edgy.

yes a bit...turned in2 making Rockets and Bombs and lots of fireworks. Lots of fun and once a living room filled with so many FBI guys no room for me to even sit down when I came home from school. Fire is fun. Here on my beach every night someone is setting up a new fire ring no matter the weather. Looking at beach at moment in dark three fires and no legal rings lol

Remembering one class where we had no rules and no limits for a year AP thing set up by BOE. So one of the students decided he wanted to push the envelope and decided to set up a fire in the middle of the class room. Teacher said ok but wait until I make a call. Fire dept came and helped make sure it was safe and sure enough the student lit that fire n we all ended up BORED lol

You'd be hard pressed to find a child that hasn't wet the bed, hurt a pet or had a fascination with fire in some stage of their life. Hurting animals is a pretty common thing for kids to do, you should only worry if they've never felt any level of guilt/remorse/regret for what they've done--in which case they're probably a psychopath.

Love animals and have as long as memory goes back. Even to point of making my own out of cotton at age maybe 3 or 4. Would never hurt an animal.
I may not love spiders but do respect them and will catch one in house and set outside or just leave it alone to go after what they do so well.
I hike and come across snakes all the tyme and just leave them be. Two weeks ago two pods of Whales with baby Whales made my evening. Have some cool personal major animal stories for some other time..Up close and personal unique animal stories in nature unexpected.

This. I don't have to tell you because it is obvious that you have studied this but it is the lack of empathy that is a major indicator associated with these activities.
