Logical structure is what seperates delusions from a worldview. One can hold to many fantastic things (most religion) without being considered for any kind of mental abnormality. However, some people tend to think certain religious views more "normal" than others. For a person to make certain claims as part of religion, like the Gnostic undercurrent of Scientology, is still thought to be crazy. Nevermind that the essentials were taught by both Gnostic Christianity and Buddhism long before Scientology ever was a thing!
