Use Firefox for Android, and go to Settings>Advanced>Show images and change it to only on wifi. Since the only wifi network I connect my phone to to is my home network, it ensures that when I leave the house, images aren't displayed on Minichan, but when I come home, they are displayed again without any intervention on my part.
