Have not tried it (The resin from Opium poppies that is) yet I have experienced the direct effects of opioid peptides every day for about the last 685 days and still counting. All 100% Legal and beyond the 685 days when I would only get the high on occasion, I was pulled over by cops 5 different times for doing really dumb shit on roads...usually when rite next to the cop--like a standing start pedal to metal burning rubber as I passed the cop right on by.
Feeling is of cheerfulness, relaxation, contentment, exhilaration, well-being ...U~4~eah...yes that sums it up. My guess is that a friend lost his head while skiing tween trees in Tahoe years ago as result of too much of the opioid peptides.

Actually yes, OP, I have. For me, it felt like smoking some very strong weed. The texture of the material is similar to hash (kind of) and has a red colour, and it's smoked out of a glass pipe (at least the times I tried it). It had a relaxing effect. The most noticeable characteristic is that it has a sweet taste to the smoke, and is sort of hard to burn, but once it's lit it goes pretty good.

In a lot of ways, yes. It was a lot more pleasant than the times where I did heroin. It's just got a sedative kind of effect. I was extremely mellowed and calm, as to be expected of any other type of opiate.

The best way to take it. Little chance of overdose since it hits you instantly and you can take it one hit at a time. also less impurities than heroin...and you'd be an idiot to try and smoke pills.

I knew they weren't the right kind as soon as the flower-buds appeared. I Googled that shit and raged. I got them as a gift, but still I was excited to get some Opium. I have a family member that manages a large plant-nursery in the area and they received several hundred plants that they didn't order labeled only as "Asian poppy". I was stoked. They are pretty at least.

I doubt yet am not 100% sure that the added chemicals have no effect the months later on the grown plant? One would need a whole hell of a lot of seeds to get anything out of them. By the time the plant grows and the resin is harvested, I bet its pure. In Afghanistan over the many years I often saw that harvesting. As well as my neighbor doing it with a simple exacto knife. Even I tried that just once. Score it a few times and wait. It ooozes out slowly because its thick and then it hardens. Scrapes off. I believe all varieties of poppies contain the alkaloid ...I imagine some with more then others.

Eh, think the size of 4 parking spaces (hard to come up with a size analogy). You can pack a lot of plants in a little area, and hell all you have to do is apply water once in awhile (if there is drought), any harvest is a good harvest, and they are very pretty otherwise.
