I cannot understand how the weather happens, it seems like there is not enough energy and plus the earth spins so the jetstream doesn't even make sense.

the sun adds a huge amount of energy continuously AND non uniformly. the continuous heating and cooling drives everything, there's plenty of energy. and the earth spinning exactly explains the jet stream through the Coriolis effect.

Let's not forget, earth spinning in the sun's gravitational field technically makes it a magneto. Since both have polar fields of gravity, and the sun's is the major force causing earth's movement.
So, that adds a lot of energy as well.
