Now really Ms. FuckAlms. Exactly how is Anon D going to find their way? For all you know Anon D and you could end up hitched.
This is not in my area of expertise. By observation when every worthwhile web site switched to the secure https: Because I use multiple types of browsers for some work I am doing, I notice old bookmarks with the www or http, do not end up working. Text from link and r04r is probably an expert at this sorta thing - does show you the trouble servers and I am betting Cisco etc routers go through on the re-directs.
From this persons experience - Used to be easy to type in www - The trade off now is - Its in theory just as easy to type IN ONLY the name of the site
minichan.org and away you go. Alas the downside of that is - with the old www even if you typed in www.minichan.net and that is of course wrong, it gives you a search engine answer for various .org .edu etc etc when they are available and you can then get to the one you want.
Now you type in minichan.net you will go nowhere or arrive via your ISP at their server - often loaded with ads your adblocker is not designed to kill.
www Forget about it. Its almost as old as I am.

I'm not interested in knowing all the technical shit, all I know is that as a consumer, typing www is far easier and faster than typing https;'/!? or whatever the fuck it is. That latter is a bad business model.

Exactly

That wood be true except see Anon G reply
tinychan.org is easy enough Other then some people may try tinychan.net and discover its not valid and then try .org. Nor am I trying to tell you that you are wrong about www
Alas that is now kaput for most sites now and you have to move on to what the webmaster gurus have handed you. I call it a compromise as I see it.
Perhaps one day for HTML.6.0 They will add a re-direct so if you do .net you end up with suggestion pages of valid .xyz with text enough to let you chose what you want? Again more for DasSheeple or r04r to explain the gain or loss if HTML 6.0 when finished happens. Again I am taking stabs at stuff I have no business taking stabs at
