Okay get this, the parents were having a night out and since i know them they asked me to watch over him.
But the dude was sad. Like he seemed to be moments away from crying the whole time. Blamed myself and then I just thought he misses his parents or something but the boy is 12.
Anyway, at night time he is crying and i go in there asking what's wrong. Turns out the exact same thing that has happened before happened again and he suddenly talks about how he thinks people will bury him alive. Tried to comfort him but it didn't work.
Then when the parents come home and i explain what happened, they brushed it off like it was nothing. Is that fucked up or what?
It IS scary. Which is why it's so confusing the parents didn't care.

They have probably heard about it constantly and realize there is no real danger of him being harmed. He just needs a therapist or a psychologist to help him. Maybe call around and find one that would be willing to listen to him and set everything up so all the parents have to do is actually take him to the appointment.
I had nightmares about "The Mummy" and those scarabs crawling in my skin to my brain for months when I was a kid and it first came out. I couldn't sleep for more than a few hours at a time so I understand.

Fuck yes those flesh eating insects! Same here, woke up and because of the way I was sleeping, I couldn't see my nipple and in a panic i thought it had been eaten by one of those things.
Seriously though, a part of me is triggered. They ought to be more concerned and caring but instead they were annoyed if anything, in fact I think I saw anger.

Man. Now I don't feel so alone. Thank you denmark guy for confirming my fear of having my insides eaten by bugs was in fact a very real fear.
I am also scared of Tornadoes, but that is because I got stuck in one once. I still chase them when they are nearby though.

Likewise nexi. I used to be afraid of snow floods, lived next to mountains in Iceland when I was little.
Heard horror stories about isolated communities getting hit by snow avalanches yet unable to get help for days. Even saw one coming right for me once but thankfully it stopped way before hitting me.
Fun fact: a icelandic girl once survived several days under the snow because her water bead kept her warm for a while and melted the snow around her.

Yeah that's me. I won't sit in the ground in a skirt or dress or shorts. The tinier the bugs are the more I am afraid they'll crawl up my holes
