I just wear a bra now. I am going to be buying some makeup and some androgynous clothes this next paycheck. I don't plan on wearing overtly girly clothes, that isn't me. I like unisex stuff. Just some nice stretchy jeans and a blouse/shirt that is for women. I do plan on wearing a dress when I come out at work though.

You don't necessarily need fake nails and they might hinder your work. You do need to exfoliate, moisturize, and start pushing back those cuticles.

I don't know how to do all these womanly things, I need to learn but I just haven't sat down and done it. I moisturize/protect with cocoa butter lotion and the girls at work say I smell like a stripper lol @ me being a stripper. I still look like a dude face wise but I am slowly changing and I know sooner or later the misgendering is going to be very often and people will start wondering what is going on, I need to havew my shit together then. I don't go in boy-mode because I am scared of being a girl, That isn't it at all. It is because I don't know how to be one yet and I feel the clothes will not be enough, You might think it is privilege but it is not, I feel like I am living a lie every day and it kills me.
I have more to learn before then. I will take this advice to heart.

It isn't a joke. DVT's are serious shit and the risk rises with more estradiol, that is why I gave autphag so much shit overtaking so much estradiol. I worry a lot about it. Estradiol also causes breast cancer. I knew all of this going in and I still did it.

I believe in listening to your doctor. Not going off AMA because you think your doctor is a nazi or whatever. Autphag insulting her doctor calling her a "crypto tranny" using that as an insult says it all. I don't think autphag should transition until she has her shit sorted mentally first. SHe has some real issues, many doctors won't let autistic people or people with BPD transition due to how they grasp onto identities or have compulsive obsessions, autphag has both. It might be after being medicated and really going through therapy that autphag might end up not wanting to be transgender anymore. I don't think people who have a sexual fetish for being a woman should transition either, and some of the things autphag has said makes me think that might be part of how she feels. Cross dressing and makeup would do people like that fine. Hormones are so hard to live with, my whole life turned upside down. It has been really hard and the longer you are on them and don't have testosterone coursing in your veins the more you change psychologically. Hormonally I am no different than a teenage girl right now and sometimes I act like it unfortunately.

I work on both. I have one of those minds that likes puzzles and machinery is one big puzzle that moves in synchronization. I like to imagine it in my head how everything works and how each part influences the other. It is why I am good at what I do, when my spine cooperates.

I mean you've stated how overweight you are, how you are trying to grow boobs, and have grown out your thinning hair. Sophie identifying as a female is one thing, I am all for that. Her going against AMA and insulting her doctors because they are not telling her what she wants to hear is another. I think before autphag goes nuts on hormones like she has been doing she should stop and actually listen to what her doctors are saying first. There is a reason they are advising her against transitioning and it is because of the mental disorders she has. Like I said in my last post, those with autism have obsessive compulsions and those with BPD grasp onto identities, both need to be taken seriously when doing something as extreme and drastic as this. She needs to work through them with a doctor and try to understand how both of these mental disorders play into how she feels first. There are reports of both autistic people and those with BPD feeling like they went through a "phase" after actually working with a gender therapist for a while and I think it is the safest course of action for her to follow. If after all of this she and her therapist/psychologist still feel like transitioning is the proper route to go then more power to her! I want her to be sure and I want her doctors to be sure too before going down this road.
I am not saying her being transgender is a mental disorder, I am saying she should not be going into this full steam ahead without actually stopping to listen to her doctors and hear what they are trying to tell her is a bad mentality to have. Sophie identifying as a female is one thing, I am all for that. Her going against AMA and insulting her doctors because they are not telling her what she wants to hear is another. I think before autphag goes nuts on hormones like she has been doing she should stop and actually listen to what her doctors are saying first. There is a reason they are advising her against transitioning and it is because of the mental disorders she has. Like I said in my last post, those with autism have obsessive compulsions and those with BPD grasp onto identities, both need to be taken seriously when doing something as extreme and drastic as this. She needs to work through them with a doctor and try to understand how both of these mental disorders play into how she feels first. There are reports of both autistic people and those with BPD feeling like they went through a "phase" after actually working with a gender therapist for a while and I think it is the safest course of action for her to follow. If after all of this she and her therapist/psychologist still feel like transitioning is the proper route to go then more power to her! I want her to be sure and I want her doctors to be sure too before going down this road.
