Why can I not simply change my mind about posting something and attempt to leave the page without being asked to confirm that I've thought it through? Is this an internet forum or the New Jersey mob? Jesus, I've been in Eastern European strip bars which made it less difficult to leave.

It bugs me as well. My work and multi-tasking so I start a reply and work calls - come back to reply or even a new topic and - When r04r first added stuff It seemed a good trade off from the often message I got about new replies.

No, it's run by reptilians. The fact is, answering to 'no' the popup saves that unpublished post to the shadow database where the admins collect information about people that they changed their mind about posting publicly. It allows them to more easily sort out the pertinent details of a user's real life information, making it easier to hunt down and silence those that subvert their power.

that feature prevents me from accidentally backing out of a page before i'm done posting, which actually happened frequently without that feature. if the site isn't going to save drafts then this is the next best feature to prevent accidental loss.

Nah, it's being run by a bunch of angry virgins with too much time ontheir they're hands. They've actually gotten worse since TC closed down and the freakshow migrated here. The two are probably connected.
