Topic: How do you all want trans threads moderated?

So I get that topics about transgender people/issues are the hot thing right now, which is fine, but no one here can seem to keep it to one thread. A lot of shit threads have gotten a lot of replies (most of them combative) about the issue. This makes the forum more active, but also not interesting or fun to read. So let's make minichan great again. How do you all want us mods/admins to proceed? Some thoughts I've had:
1. Deleting any trans drama posts in threads that are not specifically about that issue. For example if someone makes a thread about how to chop up vegetables, any posts about chopping off dicks will be deleted because they are not germane to the topic.
2. Any posts/topics that are designed to antagonize anyone about trans issues will be deleted. Genuine discussion is fine. Telling a trans person that they are a man in a dress is not cool. Telling a woman who doesn't want transwomen in their bathroom that she is a nazi segregationist is likewise not cool. I don't expect you all to like other, or even be nice to each other, but I think cheap shots like that are not really accomplishing anything, and only serve to make the board a more hostile place for everyone.
Anyone else have any ideas/thoughts about mod policy on this issue? Thanks, and try to keep this thread civil too.
